How to save and backup your drivers

After you install Windows you search the net for the drivers. After spending few hours to you finally get everything working. If you ever plan to reinstall your Windows now in would be wise to make a backup of your drivers. Launch your favorite burning software and make backup of following folders: Windows\System32\drivers and Windows\System32\DrverStore. Now you will have backup of all your drivers on a CD ready to be used next time you reinstall windows. This will save you a lot of time.

  1. Nice post! But your title is deceiving. It says back up drives which has a different meaning :)

  2. It was a typing error. Thank you so much for your comment.
